Many of the rural churches are in villages or in extremely remote areas, with no electricity or any modern conveniences. Most of our Kalibu Churches in Africa were simple mud huts with grass roofs in the early years of the ministry. There is now a program to help these rural congregations to build and roof a brick building for their local church. The members of the congregation mold and fire the bricks, hire the builder and Kalibu Ministries supplies the tin sheets and roofing materials to finish the building. It is a wonderful cooperative effort that requires local participation with our ministry provision of tin roofing to secure a long-term construction solution.
